Overview of the Structure of Mining Explosives

The mining detonator consists of an outer shell (upper and lower shells), an detonator movement, an detonator battery, a red indicator light for the detonator, a measuring column for the detonator connection column, a millisecond switch for the detonator, a conducting test for the dust cap and control handle, charging overvoltage protection, and a main circuit unit. The explosion-proof shell of the digital display detonator is made of phenolic glass fiber, and the detonator wiring column, detonator measurement column, detonator indicator light, and millisecond switch shaft are all equipped with explosion-proof measures through the shell panel.

3、 Method of action of the detonator

1. The conduction measurement method for detonators is the same as that provided with general detonators. (Can also be used as a check) Before detonation, press the ends of the two shooting busbars onto the two test terminals with your fingers. If the measurement light is on, it indicates that all wires are connected well, otherwise there may be a misfire.

2. After the charging and discharging blasting circuit of the detonator is tested to be qualified, connect the busbar to the wiring post, turn the switch to the (charging) position, connect the main circuit, and the oscillator emits a buzzing sound. After 10-20 seconds, the charging indicator light lights up, indicating that the voltage at both ends of the main capacitor has reached 1800 volts. At this time, turn the switch to the (blasting) position for blasting, and remove the key after the blasting process is completed.
